Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in inpatient or rehabilitation setting License: RN Certifications: BLS, completion of cardiac arrhythmia review test Must-Have: One year inpatient or rehabilitation experience BLS certification Completion of cardiac arrhythmia review test Description: Collect data for patient assessments. Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit with a team of healthcare professionals. The unit has 24 beds and provides rehabilitation services. Staff includes charge nurses, registered nurses, patient care technicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and case managers. Patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:6. Equipment includes Hill-Rom beds. Electronic medical record system in use is Expanse. Candidates should collaborate well with therapy departments. Role involves allowing patients to be as independent as possible while maintaining a safe clinical environment. Patients may receive therapy services for a total of 3 hours per day. Procedures may include dialysis, blood administration, intravenous medication administration, and remote telemetry monitoring. No bedside surgical procedures are conducted. Preferred qualifications include ACLS and medical/telemetry experience. Adhere to unit policies and guidelines regarding fall precautions, healthcare-associated infections, isolation, and patient care experience. Availability for every other weekend is required.
