About Miche Beauty

Miche Beauty is a growing hair care brand specializing in products for wavy, curly, and coily hair textures. We are a brand built on community, authenticity, and a deep love for natural hair. We are expanding our team and looking for a creative, driven Social Media Manager who can own our digital presence and bring the Miche brand to life across every platform; with minimal oversight and maximum impact.

The Role

This is not a role for someone who needs a lot of handholding. We are looking for a mid to senior level social media professional who can come in, assess the landscape, and immediately start executing. You will own our social media presence end to end — strategy, content creation, scheduling, community management, and reporting. If you have a graphic design background, that is a significant advantage and will be weighted heavily in our evaluation.

You will report directly to leadership and will be expected to operate independently, bring ideas proactively, and make decisions without waiting to be told what to do next. We move fast and we need someone who moves with us.

What You Will Own

• End-to-End Content Production: Lead the entire content lifecycle from brainstorming innovative concepts and writing high-performing hooks to capturing on-site footage, directing shoots, managing video assets, and analyzing performance to refine strategy

• Strategy and Creative Direction: Develop overarching content strategies, craft compelling narratives, and establish scalable recurring video series across key social channels

• Production Planning and Execution: Build content briefs, set creative direction, organize shot lists, and manage production days including filming and footage organization

• Analytics and Performance Insights: Monitor and evaluate key metrics including reach, engagement rate, retention, and conversions to deliver monthly reports and actionable adjustments

• Trend Identification: Proactively track platform features, viral trends, and industry shifts to integrate timely ideas into the content calendar

• Community Management: Respond to comments, DMs, and engage with the audience in real time in a way that reflects the Miche Beauty voice

What We Are Looking For

• 3 to 5 years of social media management experience, ideally in beauty, lifestyle, DTC, or consumer goods

• Proven track record of growing social media accounts organically — we want to see numbers

• Strong content creation skills — you can write, design, and ideate without outsourcing everything

• Proficiency in graphic design tools — Canva Pro is a must, Adobe Creative Suite is a significant plus

• Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video content — you are not learning this here

• Ability to interpret analytics and make strategic decisions based on data, not just vibes

• Self-starter mentality — you identify problems and solve them before being asked

• Strong written communication skills and an ear for brand voice

• Experience with scheduling tools such as Later, Planoly, or Hootsuite

• Experience in or genuine passion for wavy, curly, and coily hair care — you understand the community we serve

• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting and able to commute to Bethesda, MD as needed

What We Offer

• $60,000 to $65,000 annually based on experience

• Health insurance stipend of up to $500 per month after 90 days

• Paid time off — front-loaded at 90 days
